On Saturday 26th. June 2021 a group of young carers from our Carewise Young Carers Engagement Project spent the day at Exmoor Zoo . The children participated in a quiz as they walked round and received a ‘goody bag’ as a prize. They enjoyed the visit and it also led to a discussion about animals in captivity. This was the 3rd activity for some of the young carers and it was nice to see friendships developing (not just with the animals!).
