As a big football fan, fitness lover and over recent years a surfer, my decision to retrain came from helping a friend’s Saturday league football team out years back as match day first aid, where my interest in injury prevention, management and rehabilitation was born. So I studied sports massage and rehabilitation therapy which was then followed by studying personal training and nutrition predominantly for rehabilitation. Specialising in women’s health, cardiac and injury rehabilitation. This has then lead on to roles within the health and wellbeing sector including social prescribing and wellbeing advisor.
I am continually setting myself new challenges, I always find myself studying and looking at different courses, methods and techniques to improve my range of services to clients as both a sports massage therapist, trainer and wellbeing advisor. Working with clients and the public to assist them in their goals and helping them keep active and moving is something that I love doing.
