Young Carers Action Day MARCH 16th 2021
An annual event, organised by Carers Trust.
Young Carers Action Day has taken place over the last six years to raise awareness of young carers and the incredible contribution they make to their families and local communities.
What’s new about YCAD this year?
- It’s had a name change to Young Carers Action Day
- it's moved to a new date (from January to March)
- Now has a Steering Group of young/young adult carers.
- Now includes young adult carers, aged 16–24!
TTVS has two very important projects supporting Young Carers, Carewise supports carers up to the age of 18 and Bright Futures Upbeat supports Young Adult Carers aged 18 -24.
