The RNLI are looking for a volunteer to become a station Water Safety Officer (See link below).

They are looking for a local person with plenty of time available to become the focal point for our water safety initiatives in the local community with the aim of improving safety on and near the rivers, estuary and coastline. The Water Safety Officer works with local authorities, schools, clubs and societies and will be an integral member of the Appledore Lifeboat Station's Operations Team, reporting to myself as the Lifeboat Operations Manager.
